Description: This unique ranch has been owned and operated by the Stone family since 1960. This wild terrain moves from level bottom land to gently rolling bluffs that overlook the 7± mile waters of the wild & scenic Rio Grande River. The ranch features another year around supply of water with the canal running 5± miles through. A beautiful hacienda, 35± acre lake & wonderful hunting add to this unique piece of Texas history.
Improvements: A beautiful Mexican Colonial style hacienda overlooks the Rio Grande River. The main hacienda was constructed in 1948 and is 3,671± sq.ft. It is constructed with a concrete slab foundation, painted concrete block walls & a composition shingle roof. It features 9’ ceilings, a Great Room & a relaxing, screened porch of 707± sq.ft. offering great views to the river. There is a second residence that is located 10 ft. southeast of the main residence. Living areas & porches add up to 2,000± sq. ft. A charming courtyard ties the 2 residences providing an entertainment area.

Vegetation: This environment has all the browse necessary to grow large deer & to supply an abundance of wildlife. The brush species on the property include cenisa, huisache, blackbrush, guajillo, granjeno, guayacon, prickly pear, etc. Mesquite trees are scattered throughout & along the canal there are hackberry & elm trees.
Wildlife: This ranch is located in an area that is renown for producing large whitetail deer. Historically, Maverick County ranks as one of the top Boone Crockett producers in the state of Texas. Whitetail deer are not the only large game found on the ranch. It is loaded with wildlife including turkey, javelina, hogs, quail, dove & small native animals. Great duck hunting & bass/ catfishing are available as well.
